Nov 3    Completed
Highline Trail Rehabilitation  -  Rumsey Park Trail Maintenance  -  Payson
The task will be to build simple rock armoring and small spreader dams to manage rainwater runoff along a loop trail around the water-tower hill in Payson's Rumsey Park. The goal is long-term stabilization of the tread and retention of rainwater runoff to support the grasses and small woody plants close to the trail. Limited enrollment!
This trail was donated (built by VOAz's paid crew) earlier this year. The trail is used by town hikers and mountain bikers to climb to the top and return to the start point in one continuous loop of moderate grade.

Bring work gloves if you have them. It will be cool in the AM. The average high is 67 for this time of year. Check back here later for more current weather info.

Bring your own lunch and water. Additional water will be available on site. Well behaved crew members will receive an ice cream treat at Scoops at the end of the day.

Please indicate on your registration in the space provided if you would like to ride-share from the Barnes & Noble on the SE corner of 101 and Shea Blvd in Scottsdale. It will leave @ 7 AM the day-of.
