Salida View Trail #95  -  Construction  -  Prescott
FINAL EVENT: Please join us in the pines of the Prescott National Forest to complete the construction of the new Salida View Trail #95 which VOAz began in 2005. Win the best costume prize at the Halloween party Saturday night.
The re-routing of this non-motorized 1.5 mile trail from nearby Salida Gulch through the rolling hills and ponderosa forest near Lynx Lake will help protect endangered petroglyphs and connect to a network of trails in the area. Camping facilities with restrooms and ramada will be provided by PNF at a nearby campground. There is paved road all the way to the campground. VOAz will provide dinner on Saturday and coffee/tea service Saturday and Sunday. A limited amount of camping gear, including sleeping bags, pads and tents, is available for loan from VOAz on a first come, first serve basis. Contact VOAz in advance regarding camping gear for loan for this event. .
